Studying at the Pilchuck
School in Seattle, Washington, Jim and Cynthia learned the craft of
working multiple colors onto their hand blown art pieces. At the
Miller's glass blowing studio in Palisade, Colorado, Jim and Cynthia
have spent more than four years perfecting their art form, balancing
heat, thickness, and color with the coordinated teamwork required to
produce hand-blown glass.

|
If the color is too thick, the piece will be lopsided. If the
heat is not right or the
colors
are mixed wrong, the piece will be ruined.
When all of the elements are correct, the result is a beautiful multi-colored glass art piece.
